This is what we call a standard quality camera in 2018. 1080p is a good picture, we can get upto a 4k pixel camera's but Doc, says get ready when the price comes down "after we have the next generation of picture quality probably 12k" Then 4k camera's will be the standard for the next 10 -15 years. 1080p is a decent quality picture and when you add in a few "pan tilt zoom" otherwise known as "ptz" camera's and have a great system. Always do a little research for yourself, knowledge is power!!!
